Hello!

I am Pranav Badhe and I like to deliver!

I'm a graduate research assistant pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at Indiana University Bloomington. With over 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer developing data migration tools in Java and Python, I specialize in Microservices, Backend Development, Distributed Systems and Cloud Platforms (GCP & AWS).

During my tenure at IISER Pune in an interdisciplinary project, I spearheaded the development of an award-winning solution that slashed traditional execution times by 40% for wet-lab researchers. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in the development of a prosthetic arm, reducing sensory feedback training time for amputees to just 3 weeks, significantly shorter than the industry average of 8 weeks.

Driven by a passion for open-source software in the rising era of large language models (LLM), I contributed to an LLM Observability Tool called Phoenix by Arize-AI where I learned & upskilled with intellectuals.

In my undergraduate years, I led a team of 18 to organize "Linuxication," a technical workshop that delved into open-source tools and Linux kernel concepts, teaching over 500 students.

Beyond academia and work, I find solace in sketching, practicing yoga, and playing table tennis.
